Pakistani Sikh MPA provides fasting Muslims with Sherbet at Iftar time

Pakistani Sikh MPA Mahindar Pall Singh won countless hearts when he selflessly poured Sherbet from a large container for fasting Muslims.

People lined up to quench their thirst with a cup of refreshingly cold Sherbet, provided by the Member of Assembly. In the pictures, the PTI MPA can be seen himself pouring the drink into cups for the Rozadaars.

In a country such as Pakistan, where religious extremism is rampant and minorities are targeted on a frequent basis, this act by a non-Muslim is commendable and should be seen as an act of tolerance towards members of a different religion.
