ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ambassador to UN Maleeha Lodhi on Saturday said Pakistan would stand by the Kashmiri people and support their just struggle for self-determination until the achievement of their goal.
“The Pakistan Mission is working hard at the United Nations in seeking the implementation of its resolutions on the decades-old Kashmir dispute,” she said while talking to Pakistanis and Kashmiris in New York to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day.
She said Kashmir issue was alive at the UN and would remain alive until it was resolved.

Ambassador Lodhi briefed the audience about the steps taken by Pakistan for resolution of Kashmir dispute on the diplomatic front.
Speakers at the event highly praised Pakistan’s commitment to the cause of Kashmir.
On February 5, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and President Mamnoon Hussain in separate messages called upon the international community to urge India to respect the Human Rights Charter and put an immediate end to gross human rights violations in the occupied Kashmir.
