Pakistan secures first order of JF-17 jets, thrills spectators at Paris Air Show

The fighter aircrafts of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) showed an exhilarating performance over the skies of the French capital.

According to a foreign news agency, Pakistan has also secured its first export order of the light maneuvering aircraft which was jointly produced with China.

Air Commodore Khalid Mahmood has said that the deal for the sale of the fighter planes has been made with an Asian country. The name of the country has not been disclosed yet.

Three of the PAF’s JF-17 fighter jets are taking part in the air show in Paris.

The planes have already taken part in several air shows across the world including Farnborough Air Show in UK, Zhuhai Air Show in China, Turkish Air Show at Turkey and Dubai Air Show in UAE.

The 51st edition of air show in Paris kicked off on Monday (today) and will end on Sunday, 21 June.

The organizers of the event have stated some 2,260 exhibitors from 47 countries are taking part in the event, exhibiting 120 aircrafts to the traders and public.
