Foreign Office Spokesman Qazi Khalilullah in a media briefing on Thursday expressed concern over the Indian statement. He said that Pakistan will take all possible steps for its defence.
He said that Pakistan is “well aware of India’s alleged plans to sabotage the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project and its campaign against the corridor”.
The spokesman said that steps are being taken to ensure the completion of the project which is vital to the entire region.

said comprehensive investigations are going on into Axact and FIA team’s visit to US embassy yesterday was in that context. He said Ministry of Interior has asked for cooperation of US authorities in this regard.Replying media question he said Indian defence minister’s statements have confirmed Pakistan’s apprehensions regarding Indian involvement in terrorist activities in the country.
Pakistan has been the worst victim of terrorism with over 50,000 lives lost and the country’s economy incurring losses of more than $100 billion.
