ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Bahrain on Monday inked several memorandum of understandings (MoUs) regarding promotion of bilateral trade and investment, avoidance of double taxation and prevention of tax evasion.
According to the details, these MoUs were signed by Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his Bahraini Counterpart Skiekh Khalid Bin Ahmad Al-Khalifa in Islamabad today.
The two leaders agreed for further enhancement of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Bahrain’s foreign minister arrived in Pakistan today and likely to call on Prime Minister Imran Khan and other officials of the foreign ministry during his visit.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan on March 19 had said that Pakistan valued its fraternal ties with Bahrain and had an abiding interest in further augmenting these relations in all spheres.
Talking to Commander of the National Guard of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Lieutenant-General Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, who had called on him, PM Imran had expressed satisfaction on the current level of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of defence.
According to statement released from his office, matters of mutual interest, bilateral relations, trade and defence ties and other issues had been came under discussion in the meeting.
