Pakistan army helicopters rescue five people stranded in Sawan River

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army helicopters rescue five people on Tuesday including a women and two girls stranded in Sawan River near Rawalpindi.

According to Inter-Service Public Relation, the individuals were stranded in river near the Sawan bridge due to sudden rise in water level. They were all evacuated to a safer place.

The stranded individuals thanked the army for rescuing him, and raised slogans in favour of the armed forces.
