PAF spokesman said squadron leader Tanveer Ahmed was martyred when PAF’s Mirage aircraft crashed near outskirt area of Gadap. The aircraft had taken off from Masroor Airbase.
SSP Malir Rao Anwar told media that people in the area witnessed the crash and police were subsequently informed about it.
Some reports cited Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) as saying that the plane was a Mirage training aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
