QUETTA: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has called for the annihilation of miscreants and religious extremists who have been determined to harm the nation.
Addressing a Frontier Corps passing out parade on Saturday, the interior minister said that certain elements have connived with the enemy against the country.
“There are some who do not want peace in Pakistan and Balochistan,” said Nisar adding that these people do not want children to live prosperous lives and receive an education.
He called on the new recruits that it was their responsibility to bring peace to Balochistan. He said that their uniform was not an ordinary dress but had the blood of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the nation.
“You have to bring peace to Balochistan. This is your national duty and your debt to this land,” thundered the interior minister.
He said that people of Balochistan have seen a lot of problems and have rendered tremendous sacrifices. He advised the new recruits to treat the people with affection and respect.
“There are some elements who received funding from our enemies, while living comfortable lives themselves and use Balochs as sacrificial pawns,” said Nisar.
He said that the FC should continue its work of supporting Pakistan Army at the border, and also supporting police and law enforcers within the country.
He told the recruits that they have the task to get rid of the menace of religious extremism and terrorism from the country.
