PESHAWAR: A complaint seeking an inquiry into alleged embezzlement of public funds by MNA Ayesha Gulalai was filed with National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday, ARY News reported.
Gulalai’s personal assistant, Noor Zaman and others filed the complaint, requesting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa NAB director general to order an inquiry against Gulalai for her alleged involvement in financial wrongdoings.
In the complaint, they submitted, Ayesha Gulalai and her father Shams-ul-Qayyum are involved in the embezzlement of public funds meant for development schemes, which needs to be investigated. They claimed to have submitted documentary evidences and proofs along with the complaint.

Gulalai, MNA of from South Waziristan, accused Imran of sending lewd text messages to the party’s female members. She also alleged that the ‘honour of women is not safe’ in the party.
Zaman had earlier alleged that Gulalai embezzled Rs7.2 million in development projects, including construction of Bannu link Road and Sada Khel Road.
He claimed that Gulalai also misappropriated the funds reserved for construction of road from Lakki Marwat to Tari Khel and solar tube well. He added she used the embezzled amount on construction of her 4.5 kanal house in Bannu.
