NA-246 by-polls: PTI fields Imran Ismail in MQM stronghold

Talking to ARY News, MQM leader Waseem Akhtar said nation will witness the results in the by-elections. He said Altaf Hussain had earned Muhajirs an identity in the country.

He asked where were the PTI leaders when Muhajirs were under attack and their slaughtering was rampant in the city.

He said PTI is the Taliban wing which intends to capture Karachi.

The NA-246 seat had fallen vacant after resignation of Nabeel Gabol, who also parted ways with the MQM later. Mr Gabol was elected to the assembly from the Azizabad constituency on a ticket of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement in the May 2013 general elections.
