Musharraf tells which team he is rooting for in PSL final

KARACHI: Former president Pervez Musharraf has revealed who he is rooting for in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017 final match on Sunday.

When asked who he would be supporting in the PSL final, he said he is supporting underdog team Quetta Gladiators. He said this while exclusively talking to ARY News program.

Musharraf also hailed the decision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of holding the PSL final in Lahore.

On the other hand, veteran politician Sheikh Rasheed said he is supporting Peshawar Zalmi because Pakhtoons were being victimised of ethnic-profiling in Punjab.

Peshawar Zalmi have qualified for PSL 2017 final as they beat Karachi Kings by 24 runs in the third play-off in Dubai.

Finalists Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi will fight for the coveted trophy in Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.

Peshawar Zalmi’s owner Javed Afridi had said that all his foreign players will come to the city while Quetta Gladiators had to choose from a new pool of players who were ready to come to Lahore as foreign players from the finalist Quetta Gladiators refused to come to Lahore for the final citing security concerns
