Musharraf sees role of ‘third political force’ vital for country

“For years, PML-N and PPP are ruling the government, hence a third political force is needed in Pakistan,” he said while speaking to media after offering condolence on death of son of APML’s Karachi president Shahabuddin Hussaini.

He said water crisis in Karachi was artificial, which could be resolved with a serious political will of the government.

Musharraf said all energy projects, initiated during his tenure, had been abandoned by the successive governments.

He regretted that no major development project could be started in Sindh for years.
