“The APML chief has issued a notification cancelling the party membership of Ahmed Raza Kasuri,” said the APML central information secretary Asia Ishaque.
“Kasuri exceeded his authority in the name of party and wrongly posed himself as the vice president of APML,” she added.
On the other hand, Ahmed Raza Kasuri insisted that he is still a part of APML and that no one can expel him from the party.
Kasuri – a senior lawyer – has remained to be the central chief coordinator of the APML.
