MQM MNA Asif Hasnain joins Mustafa Kamal

He was flanked by Kamal during a presser at the Pakistan House while making announcement to leave MQM. Kamal welcomed him to the party and said that Hasnain has shunned the policies and mandate of the MQM chief.  “If you have a problem with Altaf, leave the mandate. It is not your mandate, it is his mandate,” Kamal said.

Mustafa Kamal said that Farooq Sattar was making a futile attempt to save the MQM, and whatever is happening is according to the plan of the MQM chief who is in contact with workers from around the world. “This is a fixed-match. There is an understanding between Farooq Sattar and Altaf Hussain,” he claimed.

Hasnain said that he considers 22nd August as black day in the history of Pakistan, when the MQM chief raised slogans against the country, and had attacked policeman and media houses afterwards leading to chaos and anarchy in the city.

However, he came to know that Farooq Sattar was to disassociate the party from the MQM chief, but was disappointed after Sattar addressed Altaf Hussain as his leader.

He admitted that the MQM and the London Secretariat cannot be separated and they were made to defend themselves. He lashed out at MQM leader Mustafa Azizabadi who he said was involved in china-cutting and massive land-grabbing.

Therefore, he had no choice but to part ways with the party and contact Mustafa Kamal, he said adding that he was not pressurised but could not support those raising slogans against the country for which their forefathers gave immense sacrifices.

This should be noted that a couple of days back, Hasnain was arrested by Rangers at Karachi airport when he was about to board a flight. He was arrested to investigate if he was nominated in any case files against party leaders. He was released hours later and he had made no media appearance since then.

Anees Advocate dares MQM to remove Altaf from its constitution

Several popular leaders sidelined by the MQM, such as Dr. Sagheer Ahmed, Anees Adovcate,  Raza Haroon, Iftikhar Alam and Waseem Aftab have joined the PSP so far after severing ties with the MQM.

Earlier this year, Mustafa Kamal had rocked the political arena of Pakistan with his outburst against MQM and Altaf Hussain for his autocratic leadership in the party and alleged his involvement in crimes besides having links with Indian spy agency, RAW.
