ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office said on Saturday that a Pakistani national who got injured in the terrorist attacks on New Zealand mosques is struggling for his life in a hospital there.
Sharing details of the victim in a tweet, spokesman Dr Muhammad Faisal said Muhammad Amin Nasir belonged to Punjab’s Hafizabad district. “He is in ICU and remains in critical condition.”
It is noteworthy that at least two Pakistanis of a family had been martyred in the terrorist attacks on mosques in New Zealand on Friday, according to their family.

confirmed that his brother, Naeem Rashid and nephew Talha, had been martyred in a terror attack on a mosque in Christchurch. He said that his brother was a teacher and added that they hailed from Abbottabad.Following the attacks, Pakistan’s deputy high commissioner in Wellington had said that at least five Pakistanis were missing after the attacks on mosques in New Zealand.
The deputy high commissioner said that they were making all-out efforts to find the missing Pakistanis and added that the Christchurch police and hospitals’ management were unable to give any details.
