Talking to media after inaugurating WAPDA office for Dasu Power Project in Islamabad today, he said under the plan electricity will be generated from coal in southern parts of the country and from hydel sources in the northern region.
He said finances are partially available for Dasu power project and work will be started on it very soon.
He said under the Tarbela-IV project, additional 1,400 megawatt electricity will be produced by 2017. He said work is also underway on Tarbela-V project.
He said circular debt had now again reached Rs 304 billion.
