According to Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Asim Bajwa, General Raheel Sharif visited the Corps Headquarters Peshawar where he was briefed about the ongoing military operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
The army chief said that the continuation of the operations is the only solution to the ongoing terrorism in the country.
He also said that the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) will start returning to their homes in the end of this month.
General Sharif has instructed the concerned authorities to take proper steps so that the displaced persons can return to their homes and rehabilitate in the given time.
