LAHORE: Senior lawyer Aitzaz Ahsan on Wednesday said PML-N senior vice president Maryam Nawaz and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah are ‘gifts’ from God to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, ARY News reported.
Talking to journalists in Lahore, Ahsan said the incumbent government is giving chances to Imran Khan to gain popularity through actions being carried out by them.
Political leaders and parties are not declared ‘terrorists’ in the way, Maryam Bibi is demanding, the PPP stalwart said and asked how Maryam will feel if Jati Umra is raided.
Replying to a question, he made it clear that elections will be held on the dates announced following the decision of the Supreme Court. Aitzaz Ahsan asked Rana Sanaullah to give Rangers for the elections.

Earlier, Ahsan lambasted Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) chief organizer Maryam Nawaz for maligning the judiciary during her speech in Sargodha.
While talking to the ARY News programme Sawal Yeh Hai today, senior lawyer Aitzaz Ahsan stated that PML-N chief organizer Maryam Nawaz has no right to malign the judges by calling out names and pictures in political rallies.
“I am not in favour of this kind of criticism of judges,” remarked Ahsan.
