LAHORE: Spokesperson Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Marriyium Aurangzeb on Sunday confirmed that supreme leader of her party Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz will return to Pakistan on Friday.
“Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is ready to face this verdict. Corruption of not even one penny could be proved against the PM-N Quaid in the recent NAB court verdict,” she said while addressing a news conference in Lahore.
It may be mentioned that Nawaz Sharif was sentenced to ten years in prison in the Avenfield reference case, while Maryam was sentenced to seven years and Safdar was given one year in prison.
This should be noted that the NAB has obtained arrest warrants for Nawaz, Maryam Nawaz and Safdar.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that no concrete evidence could be produced during the Avenfield Reference case to prove the ownership of flat by the name of the Sharif family.
She said that PML-N rejected the recent NAB court verdict.
While talking to media in London on Saturday, Maryam Nawaz had announced that she and her father did not fear arrest and would return to Pakistan on Friday.
