JACOBABAD: A man on Thursday killed his two wives on the pretext of ‘honour killing’ for allegedly having illicit relationships in district Jacobabad , ARY News reported.
Sikandar Ali Dasti killed his wife Zareena,25, and Leghari,35, for alleged having separate affairs with two men, Abdul Aziz Brohi and Haq Nawaz Brohi, who lived in the same locality.
The incident took place within the limits of Kalo Bhangar village in district Jacobabad, where Dasti killed both his wives with a pistol. Both women died on the spot after which the suspect fled from the scene of the incident.
Police shifted the bodies to Civil Hospital for post-mortem and other legal procedures, after which they were handed to their family members. A search is underway to apprehend the suspect.
This is probably the first incident in which a man has killed two wives for ‘honour killing’ at the same time.
