LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Rehman Malik has said that four-point agendas of the party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari are the only solution to the country’s issues, ARY News reported.
He was talking to media after visiting the home of the party’s veteran leader Jahangir Badar, who passed away this week. He met the family members and offered his condolences.
Malik said that Badar’s contributions for democracy will never be forgotten. He announced that a road will be named after the deceased PPP leader.
He said that that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s four-point agenda are the only solution to the problems of the country.
It should be noted that the PPP chairman had
demanded the federal government to appoint a foreign minister on immediate basis, approve the Panama Bill tabled by PPP in Senate, accept the suggestions of former president Asif Ali Zardari on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) presented in All Parties Conference and the national security committee of parliamentarians should be reconstituted.PPP leader Naveed Qamar, speaking on the occasion, said that the case is put towards a different direction whenever a lawyer is changed.
Qamar added that PPP will also stage a full-scale movement against the federal government.
He said, “The loadshedding duration in Punjab may have gone down but the people in Hyderabad are still suffering upto 18 hours of power outages everyday.”
