ISLAMABAD: Maldives High Commissioner in Islamabad Ahmed Saleem called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Friday.
Matters pertaining to regional security and bilateral interest came under discussion during the meeting, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The Maldivian High Commissioner acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts and role for peace and security in the region.
A day earlier, H.E. Barlybay Sadykov, Kazakhstan Ambassador to Pakistan, called on General Bajwa at the GHQ. Matters of mutual interest including regional security issues were discussed during the meeting.
