LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Thursday formed a full bench to hear applications for inquiry into the Panama Papers scandal and the disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The bench will be chaired by Justice Shams Mahmood Mirza and include Justice Shahbaz Rizvi, and Justice Waqas Rauf Mirza will hear the applications next week.
The applicants seek the disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif due to the concealment of assets, and transfer money through illegal means abroad into offshore firms.
The application also called for an inquiry into the Panama Papers through the National Accountability Bureau.
