President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain and Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan have expressed grief over the loss of lives in the deadly terrorist attack.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who was in Karachi, has condemned the incident and summoned a report of the blast.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Chief Minister of Sindh, connected the incident to enmity with humanity.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has said that the attackers were not human beings and they want to create a fearful atmosphere by targeting innocent people.
Imran Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), said that the attacks on worship places is brutality of the worst kind.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) said that there is no government’s writ in the country while the law and order situation is being tattered.
The attack has also been condemned by the National Assembly (NA) Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Siraj-ul-Haq and many other political leaders.
