LAHORE: Orange Line Metro Train Project will be completed by December this year and the consignment of its bogies will reach Lahore the same year from China.
This was stated by Adviser to the Chief Minister and Orange line Metro Train Steering Committee Chairman Khawaja Ahmad Hassan while addressing a briefing of NESPAK officials in Lahore.
He said that 72 percent construction work of the project has been completed.

The meeting was informed that contract of 12 stations of package-1 while 15 stations of package-II have been assigned to a Chinese company CR Norinko.
The estimated cost of the project is 1.6 billion dollars.
The metro train is expected to transport up to 250,000 passengers a day.
