Karachi to remain hot in the next 24 hours

It should be noted that the metropolis sizzled at 43 °C  while the hottest temperatures recorded in the past 24 hours were Turbat with 49°C, Nokkundi 47°C, Dalbandin, Lasbella 45°C, Sibbi 44°C and Karachi 43 °C, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

Pakistan Meteorological Department has stated Rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at scattered places of Kashmir, Hazara, Malakand divisions while isolated in Kallat, Zhob division and Gilgit-Baltistan while Scattered rain-thundershower with dust-storm also

expected in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu divisions, Islamabad and FATA, while isolated in Lahore, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, D.G.Khan, Peshawar, D.I.Khan, Quetta, Sibbi and Mirpur Khas divisions within 24 hours.

Accuweather has stated that the temperature in Karachi is expected to rise upto 40 degrees today.

The temperatures recorded on Monday morning were Bahawalpur 34°, Chakwal 31°, Charsadda 33°, Faisalabad 35°, Gujranwala 36°,  Gujrat 37°, Hyderabad 34°, Islamabad 33°, Jhang 36°, Karachi 36°, Lahore 34°,  Larkana 39°, Multan 35°, Peshawar 33°, Quetta 30°,  Rawalpindi 33°, Sargodha 36°,n Sheikhupura 33°, Sialkot 32° and Sukkur 37°.
