Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) and police’s Anti-Violent Crime Cell in an operation recovered a 40 year old abductee Abdul Samad from Landhi.
Abdul Samad was kidnapped on March 2.
CPLC chief Ahmed Chinoy claimed that the First Information Report (F.I.R) of the abduction was lodged in Manghopir police station.
The kidnappers demanded a ransom of 1.5 million rupees from Abdul Samad’s family while law enforcement agencies launched an operation over the information recovering the abductee.
One kidnapper was arrested while the head of criminal group Rashid managed to flee with three other kidnappers.
