The resolution was filed by JI parliamentary leader Dr. Syed Waseem Akhtar. The resolution demands the federal government to take notice of Altaf Hussain’s and ban the Karachi-based party for hate speech delivered by its chief against security institutions of the country.
The JI also demanded case proceedings against the MQM under Article-6 of the Constitution.
