Jaranwala: Driver flees with unattended bank van carrying Rs47.1 million

Jaranwala: A van driver from Gojra fled with a van full of cash from outside a private bank as soon as the security officials left the vehicle unattended for a few seconds, ARY News reported. 

According to the police, the van driver took advantage of the security officials’ carelessness and fled with a van filled with cash amounting to Rs47.1 million. The van was found near Chak 109 however the locks of the cash box were broken and the cash was missing from the van. The van driver is resident of Gojra, the police told.

The PCO has ordered Superintendent of Police (SP) Jaranwala to submit a report of the incident as soon as possible and ordered to establish check points to arrest the van driver.
