Jamaat-e-Islami's three day gathering starts today

Countless tents have been placed to accommodate the participants for three days. Maps have been put up for the people to locate natives from their own districts.

Ten sessions will be held in the JI’s three day gathering in which the activists and supporters will receive political training from the party leaders. Conferences will be held in which the situation regarding Pakistan, Islamic world and role of women will be discussed.

More than 5,000 Jamaat-e-Islami volunteers have been given security duties.

The gathering will start with a Friday sermon from the chairman of Akhwan-ul-Muslimeen.

The ‘Ijtema’ will conclude on Sunday with an address from JI Chief Siraj-ul-Haq in which he will make key announcements.
