CM Balochistan calls for collective efforts to establish healthy society

ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan on Saturday called for collective efforts to establish a healthy society.

Presiding over the first ever meeting of Balochistan Food Authority in Quetta, Jam Kamal Khan said establishment of food authority in the province was in the best interest of traders and vendors.

He directed the concerned authorities to launch an awareness drive among the people and business community in connection with eradication of fake products especially injurious edible items in the markets.

On this occasion, the chief minister also accorded approval with regard to establishment of a mobile testing unit and provision of other all necessary facilities to the food authority.

On March 14, Jam Kamal had said that restoration of durable peace in the province was the top priority of his government.

Addressing a passing out parade of the 9th basic training course of anti terrorism force in Quetta, CM Jam Kamal had said, “Since assumption of power, the government is endeavoring for restoration of peace in the province and achievements of the government are visible to all.”

The chief minister had also addressed faculty members and under-training officers of Command and Staff College in Quetta. He had apprised the participants of the course about steps taken by the current government for good governance in the province.
