According to details, the ministry wrote a letter to the Presidency, PM Secretariat, heads of intelligence agencies and all the provinces cautioning of possible terrorist activity during the month of Ramazan.
The letter states that there is intelligence that suggests Lashkar e Jhangvi (LeJ) terrorists based in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) are plotting terrorist attacks at residential complexes at an unidentified location.
Reconnaissance of the target has been carried out and the terrorists along with ammunition have already reached close to the target area, it read.
The Interior Ministry urged all the provincial governments for adopting all possible security measures to counter any such activity.
