Addressing to the supporters of ‘Azadi March’ in Islamabad tonight, PTI Chief said PM Nawaz is not ready to take the offer because he is scared that his wrongdoings will be proved. He vowed to continue protest till the resignation of PM Nawaz.
“I feel comfortable staying here as I have become used to sleeping here”, he said.
Showing his commitment for the cause, Imran asked his charged supporters whether they have stamina to remain firm on the goal of bringing the real democracy in the country getting rid of all monarchs. The participants responded positively to Chief’s query.
Imran Khan reiterated his call for observing civil disobedience, asking people not pay taxes to the government. He also advised public to transfer their money through ‘hundi’ instead of banks.
Comparing Pakistan’s democracy to that of United Kingdom, he said “I have seen democracy in UK, there people have been entitled with free education, medical facilities and all other rights unlike in our country”. He added that true democracy ensures speedy progress.
Imran Khan said there isn’t any difference between Nawaz Sharif and Egypt’s former president Hosni Mubarak as both kept their money in foreign banks, attained rule through rigging, looted public wealth and used police for their own purpose. He added that the people should remember that Hosni Mubarak was thrown out of regime by the public.
PTI’s Chief informed that he will come to Karachi, Quetta and Peshawar after the resignation of PM Nawaz asking the residents of the above mentioned cities to prepare themselves for his arrival.
Responding to Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman’s criticism, Imran Khan said its not a music concert, it is a revolution indeed.
Imran Khan thanked Almighty Allah for making people aware of their interests and uniting them to take stand against the corrupt leaders. He expressed his hopes that soon nation will get freedom from slavery.
