Imran readies his workers for action on Nov 30

Addressing the participants of the PTI sit-in camp at D-Chowk, Imran Khan said that Nawaz Sharif with the help of his goons had waged an attack on the Supreme Court and the then Chief Justice, Sajjad Ali Shah could hardly save his life.

“Such a person deserves to be in prison, but unfortunately he has become the prime minister of the country”, he added ironically.

He said yesterday one of the ‘courtiers’ of Nawaz Sharif accused him of undue use of a plane, adding, “Neither me nor Jehangir Tareen ever plundered the national wealth”.

He slammed the Information Minister, Pervez Rasheed for leveling baseless allegations and claimed Jehangir Tareen to be the highest tax payer in the assembly.

The skipper cited a newspaper as saying that Asif Ali Zardari has now claimed a necklace worth of 1 crore 70 lacs lying with a Swiss bank, which he had earlier denied to be his possession. He added that the Swiss authorities have declined to hand over the necklace to the PPP co-chairman for it could not be ascertained that it actually belongs to him.

“The PPP co-chairman had also retreated from the possession of Surrey Mansion at the floor of the assembly back in 1996, but when it was sold out in 2010/11, Asif Ali Zardari came to receive the amount”, he added.

Speaking about the Nov 30 protest rally, the PTI chairman warned PM Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister to refrain from the use of force for this time his workers will not get thrashed by the police quietly.

He asked his workers to take a stand and fully respond in case they are subjected to torture by the government, adding that if it happened then it could not be contained up to D-Chowk, but the movement will spread all over the country.

“Our protest will be peaceful, but the steps taken by the government are not accepted and we will fight back if it denied us our right of protest”, Imran clarified.

He also asked the police to act in accordance with the constitution and not to obey unjust orders of the prime minister.

Addressing the personnel of the law enforcement agencies (LEAs), Imran reminded them that they are paid with the taxes of the people of Pakistan and hence they should not indulge in any illegal activity, they are directed for by the rulers.
