Imran, Rasheed again in face-off over Form 15 issue

Speaking at a presser today, Khan said, “We talked of 35 punctures, but here the entire tyre has become useless”.

He added earlier to this election, irregularities were never investigated in the country.

The PTI chairman criticized the ruling Nawaz-league of leading an irresponsible campaign regarding the issue of Form 15.

He alleged that 20,800 additional ballot papers were sent to Khawaja Saad Rafique’s constituency, while 52,000 additional votes were sent to Hamza Shahbaz’s area of contest.

On the other hand, Information Minister Pervez Rasheed slammed Imran Khan saying the ‘one leveling allegations of 35 punctures in General Elections 2013 himself punctured the entire tube in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’.

He was addressing a press conference shortly after Khan’s presser in Islamabad.

“Imran Khan is bent on misleading the people by holding media trials,” he said. “Why does not he fight his case in courts rather than media?”

He said: PTI chairman’s ’35 punctures tale’ was all fabricated which could only be run on media and told standing atop a container.

“Elections 2013 were free and transparent following which the people were seen rejoicing, but the local bodies (LB) elections lately held in KP witnessed enough violence followed by strikes and protests,” the minister castigated.
