LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz on Saturday said it was the apex court who denied Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan’s ownership of the offshore company, while the latter had acknowledged its possession, ARY News reported.
“Imran Khan conceded ownership of his offshore company before the court, but the Supreme Court said ‘no, it’s not your company’. The SC knows Imran’s matters more than him,” she said sarcastically.
Addressing a public rally in Lahore, daughter of ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif continued vituperation against the Supreme Court for the historic verdict of disqualifying Nawaz Sharif.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said she would burst into laughter listening to statements of the witnesses in the court against the Sharif family.
“The witnesses even did not know for what they were supposed to testify. The witnesses would say they were only handed the documents,” she said.
Maryam said Imran changed his statements every so often in the top court.
She recalled that when the commission of the court asked him for the evidences in the case lodged by him against the ruling government for the alleged involvement in embezzlement and he said he could not remember for he tipped over and hurt his head.
