Imran aggrieved for not being consulted on North Waziristan Operation

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan after somehow announcing to support the North Waziristan Operation, has said that the second largest political party of the country was not taken into confidence on the issue, nor the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Government, which is affected by terrorism way more than others – ARY News reports.

Talking to media outside the Parliament House, Imran Khan inquired that when talks with Taliban were fully backed, why not the process was accelerated, no one knows the reason behind it. He again stressed on negotiations with Taliban factions, willing for it.

Khan said that some useful suggestions could also be given by his side, had authorities consulted his party on the operation.

He also expressed his worries about the common people, who will be displaced due to the military offensive and inquired what arrangements were made for them.

The PTI Chairman said the number of suicide attacks in KP was reduced to half and development also took place there.
