FAISALABAD: Chairman of Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), Hamid Raza has said that democracy will strengthen with the durable alliance of opposition parties and a political field has been set in the country – ARY News reports.
Talking to different delegations on Monday, Hamid Raza said that current Government provided nothing to the people and looting is continued in the state, in the name of democracy.
He said that the country is heading towards change and the people have lost their patience.
The SIC Chief said that the protest that initiated against rigging and use of unfair means in elections, is soon going to turn into a full-fledged movement.
He lashed out at the current rulers of the state and alleged that they are acting on the policy of providing discomfort to the people, instead of relief.
Moreover, Hamid Raza stressed on the need of empowering the Parliament and suggested to put the burden of taxes on rich people, rather than troubling poor.
