Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Nisar said organisers would ensure that participants should not move forward from rally venue towards the Red Zone or any other place.
The minister said PTI’s rally will be held in Jinnah Avenue, while stage would be set up at Parade Avenue, same where container was placed right now. “Organizers will ensure that no damage to public places, properties is caused while access to such places is not blocked.”
He told that police, FC, Rangers would be deployed outside rally venue while, internal security would be looked after by the PTI itself.
He informed that no objection certificate (NOC) for Nov 30 rally had already been issued to the PTI. The government was not opposed to any peaceful protest.
Nisar made it clear that no violation would be tolerated against points agreed between the government and the PTI for rally on Sunday.
He also added that welfare and safety of children, participating in the rally, would be responsibility of the organizers. “When the rally concludes, it will be the responsibility of organizers to ensure that participants were dispersed peacefully.”
He also stressed that organizers must ensure safety of participants due to construction work of Metro project going on currently near rally venue.
To a question, he said the government had not struck any deal with Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri.
