ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Saturday took the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government to task for what he said keeping a multi-billion dollar liquefied natural gas (LNG) deal under wraps.
In a statement on his official Twitter account, the PTI chief said:“No wonder govt has kept this LNG deal under wraps. Despite commitment from PM Abbasi, he has so far refused to reveal the deal’s details to Parliament and the public.”
He said: “This shows there cld [could] be a major corruption scam underlying this deal.”
“It is absolutely shameful how this govt’s policies have hurt our export industry. During my visit to the APTMA, information shared with me showed how our exports have performed worse than all other regional competitors,” he tweeted.
