ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that the focus of his government fixed on to resolve the prevailing power crisis in the country from the first day of its tenure.
He was speaking while chairing a meeting of the cabinet committee on energy yesterday.
The prime minister said that the reforms introduced by the government in the energy sector will help in meeting the future power needs of the country.
Sharif said that the government has an advantage to launch scores of power projects and vowed that sufficient energy will be added to the national power grid.
He said his government is determined to provide cheaper electricity to the nation.
The meeting chaired by the prime minister, reviewed progress in the power projects launched by the federal government.
