ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has imposed gag order on all the NAB officers including director generals, ARY News reported.
The officers of the anti-graft body have been barred from giving interview to media and newsmen have been asked to contact spokesperson of the Bureau for any information.
This ban has been imposed following DG NAB Lahore Shehzad Saleem’s recent interview to private news channels.

Addressing a meeting in Islamabad, the NAB chairperson said he would try to understand only after watching his interview that what made the National Assembly members furious over it.
On this occasion, Javed Iqbal was also given a presentation regarding mega corruption cases.
Earlier while speaking to ARY News’ program ‘Off the Record’, Shehzad Saleem hinted that imprisoned former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif will be arrested in more cases.
The DG NAB Lahore said that Shehbaz Sharif gave irrelevant answers to the Bureau’s questions during interrogation and he will be grilled in other cases as well.
