Four members of a family killed in Lahore

LAHORE: In a tragic incident, four members of a family including husband, wife, and their two children were killed in the neighbourhood of Rasool Pura near Nawab Town of the walled city, ARY News reported on Tuesday.

According to details received from police and rescue officials, the late family belonged to Pattoki, a city in the Kasur District of the Punjab province.

Abdul Malik, 26-year-old, worked as a security guard at a private firm while Aasia, 22-year-old was a homemaker.

Their children, three-year-old Asif and nine-month-old Mariam, were also among the victims.

Meanwhile, their bodies were taken to local hospitals for further investigation, said police officials.

A senior member of the family told officials investigation the case that the victims had no personal or professional enmity with anyone on any issue that they could be killed in such a brutal way.

Meanwhile, an investigation has been launched into the incident after Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the incident.

The family members of the victims have also demanded justice through a full probe.
