QUETTA: Four people including three army personnel were martyred during a attack at a polling station in Buelda district Kech in Balochistan near the Pakistan-Iran border.
This was confirmed by the army’s press wing, Inter-Services Public Relations, which stated that the incident occurred last night.
The election staff were at a polling station in NA-271 Buleda for election and security duties when the incident occurred last night.
Ten people were also injured in the incident and have been shifted to a hospital in Karachi.
The martyred security officers includes sepoy Imran, Jehanzaib, Akmal and a school teacher named Safiullah. However, polling was held at the polling station despite the incident.
