KARACHI: The port city experiencing the foggy conditions as the weather turning cold disturbing a few flights in the flight operation schedule at Karachi airport on Monday morning, ARY News reported.
According to the weather department mercury goes down to 22 degree Celsius this morning decreasing the visibility limit in the city.
Lower visibility resulted in diversion of a Karachi-bound flight from Jeddah to Nawabshah airport, while a Turkish Airlines flight to the city was stopped at Dubai, PIA flight inquiry officials said.
The weather, however, improved with sunrise, which improved the visibility and return of flights according to the normal schedule.
In Punjab, the smog i.e. smoke + fog, gradually decreasing with an improved visibility this morning. All sections of the motorway in the province have been open for vehicular traffic.
Punjab will likely to receive lesser then the routine rainfall in November, December this year, which will elongate the foggy weather in the province, met officials have said.
