JAMSHORO: At least five people were killed and 13 injured in a road accident near Jamshoro, ARY News reported Friday.
The accident occurred near Indua Highway, Jamshoro when a dumper truck and van collided with each other, claiming five lives. A woman is also among the dead persons. The passenger van was heading to Dadu district from Hyderabad when the mishap took place.
Eye witnesses said the van attempted to overtake the truck that resulted in fatal accident. Rescue and police reached the spot after the incident and helped shifting injured to the hospital.
Police said speeding could be a cause behind this fatal accident.
