QUETTA: Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan arrested as many as 16 suspects during raids conducted in different parts of the province under Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Friday.
According to Pakistan Army’s media wing, huge cache of arms and ammunition were also recovered during the raids including hand grenades, Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), RPG grenades and explosive materials.
The raids were carried out in Sibbi, Sambaza and Hazar Ganji areas of the province.
The security agencies have recently stepped up anti-terror operations in Balochistan.
Three suspects were apprehended lately in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) by the FC in Dhadar and Mastung areas.
