Fazl informed Sattar that the government has given him full mandate for talks and the matter should not be dealt with ‘hastily’. He urged MQM to review its decision.
The JUI-F chief suggested MQM to continue the dialogue process and told that he has discussed the matter with the prime minister.
At this, Sattar lamented government ‘non-seriousness’ on MQM’s resignations and that PM Sharif in his Karachi visit entirely neglected the issue.
“If the prime minister was serious, he would call MQM leaders and listen to their concerns,” he added.
The MQM leader said that his party made this decision in principle after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to the megapolis.
Listening to Sattar’s arguments, Maulana Fazlur Rahman assured him of discussing all these affairs with the premier and vowed to play his role in addressing MQM reservations.
