ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday issued details of assets of Pakistan’s political parties including the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), ARY News reported.
According to the details revealed in the list of assets issued by the election commission, former ruling party the PML-N possesses the biggest assets worth 222.1 million rupees.
The PPP is the second leading party in this list with assets worth 162.2 million rupees, while the ruling party PTI is third with assets worth 116.4 million rupees.
The Jamaat-e-Islami has got 110.65 million rupees assets. The PPPP has assets worth 70.92 million rupees .

The PML-Q
owns 58.1 million rupees assets. The Awami National Party (ANP) has 41.7 million rupees, while the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has got assets worth 28.2 million rupees. The Karachi-based Pak Sarzameen Party possesses assets worth 3.56 million rupees.As per the ECP documents, value of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s assets is 1.9 million rupees and the Awami Muslim League has 0.288 million rupees assets.
In a separate statement on Monday, the ECP has expressed satisfaction over the report of Free and Fair Election Network on general elections 2018.
The commission reviewed the FAFEN report in a meeting.
The ECP directed to send the report to provincial election commissioners and district election commissioners so that irregularities may be addressed regarding by-elections and general elections 2023.
