ISLAMABAD: The two-days meeting of 8th round of Pakistan-China Free Trade Agreement (FTA) will begin on Thursday in Beijing.
This was informed in a meeting regarding Pak-Thailand and Pak-China FTA chaired by Minister for Commerce Mohammad Pervaiz Malik in Islamabad.
The commerce minister directed the negotiating team on Free Trade Agreements to work vigorously to conclude the commerce agreements in best interest of the country.
Pervaiz Malik expressed satisfaction over the progress of FTA negotiations and also directed them to work vigorously to conclude the agreements at the earliest.
He said that while negotiating FTA with Thailand, Pakistan is also looking to access a huge untapped market of the whole East Asian Region. Pakistan had already concluded successful FTAs with Malaysia and Indonesia.
